About me

Nat Bunner is a cryptography researcher at Space and Time working on the Proof-of-SQL protocol. Nat got her first exposure to research-level cryptography in Dr. Cetin Kaya Koc's lab while studying math at UC Santa Barbara. From there she joined the blockchain world as an early addition to the Metastate team where her work focused on zk-SNARKs. Nat's research interests are broader than just cryptography and generally include anywhere that algebraic methods can be applied to logic or complexity theory. Working on Proof-of-SQL provides an interesting foray into verifiable computation for more restrictive computational models.
