Marvin started his post graduate education at Wake Forest University completing a Master of Arts in Mathematics. He then attended the University of South Carolina where he finished a Master of Science in Mathematics. For both of these degrees, he completed theses that focused on pure Mathematics in terms of Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry. After completing his degree at USC, he shared his passion for Mathematics and learning with students as he taught college transfer courses at a community college. Marvin attends Clemson University as a PhD candidate in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. He has taken his training in pure Mathematics and been able to apply it to the exciting world of Zero Knowledge Proofs. He has spent the last 2 years studying the variety of constructions of zk-SNARKs. Now, he is excited to apply his knowledge of interactive protocols as a cryptography researcher at Space and Time.
